Phew it is even hotter today, so first up a gorge. Just over a mile long by going early it was lovely and cool walking down the gorge. Very scenic and at the far end there is an active railway crossing above on a bridge. The gorge itself was only discovered in the 1890s but is well worth a visit. Walking back the sun was beginning to show overhead and it was significantly warmer. Not one to do in the afternoon methinks.
Next on to a ski resort at Kranjskagorga. Unfortunately disappointing, only 20kms of runs. Whilst the centre looked pleasant enough at 31C we did not fancy walking around. So back to campsite, lunch, beer, then into the (very) refreshing lake for a swim or two.
Finally cracked the washing machines but at £5 a go bit expensive, still we need to wash some clothes, otherwise we will need to take pegs with us when we go out so as not to offend others.
