04/07/11 Day 8 Lake Konstanz

A really nice day today, lots of sunshine & very warm. Off on bikes before 9am to ride to Lindau. Nice breakfast on route at bakery, yummy pastries & coffee. Lots of prettty villages and harbours, just like being by the sea. Reached Lindau about 12.30, light lunch of beer & panini.


Then thought we'd carry on to Bregenz, so achieved another first of cycling from one country to another as Bregenz is in Austria. So if in Austria, then 2 applestrudels & vanilla sauce (or custard to you  & me).

Anyway having worked out we had cycled some 35 kms we decided against cycling back & took the bus ferry instead back to Friedrichshassen.
