30/06/11 Day 4 - Eguisheim

Much better day, sunshine & cloud. Decided to get on bikes & go explore Eguisheim, and well worth it it was, lovely old village built as a roundish square, with streets running inside each other. Saw first stork nest on top of church. 

Found really nice restaurant and had lunch, flambeed tart & salad. Flambeed tart is Alsace version of pizza, but with much nicer very thin & tasty base and top with selection from cottage cream, cream, cheese, onion, bacon & mushroom - or the whole lot if you like ! Washed down with a very nice local white.


Amazingly after that we cycled back to the campsite.
